We try to have a variety of people posing for our classes so that the students are presented with new challenges: different ages, races, sexes, complexions, builds, etc. I am continually looking for new faces.
In order to pose, you must be able to sit perfectly still for 20 minutes at a time. We work for three hours, taking a model break of 5 minutes after every 20 minute segment. Anyone unable to sit absolutely still will not be considered. It may sound easy, but it does require quite a bit of concentration. Models are also required to be at their scheduled class on time and ready to work. The studio is in downtown Sunnyvale, CA. You are required to provide your own transportation to work.
If you are interested in being a model for our portrait class or you know someone who would like an opportunity to pose for our class, please contact me via email or phone. After discussing availability and scheduling, I interview and give instruction on posing for the class prior to our agreed posing dates. That way, a person that has no experience modeling is able to comfortably pose for the class and is able to do a good job. This also gives me a chance to evaluate your suitability for the job. Pay for portrait modeling is $15 per hour.
I hire professional figure models for our figure classes. If you are a professional figure model, you may contact me for either portrait or figure modeling.
